Week One Reflections

I have learned more about computer use in the classroom this week than in entire computer courses taken in the past. I particularly like the fact that I can make a calendar public with a unique URL. As a teacher, I can make homework assignments and events available for parents online by giving them the URL. I have never created a blog either. This is a great way to create a teacher profile and post important highlights about school/class events. Areas where I am currently struggling are creating a link on my blog and uploading and publishing google documents. I am sure that I will get this all figured out, and I look forward to learning how to do these things and becoming more competent in the use of technology in and out of the classroom.
